The Knoxville Chapter
provides two scholarships to deserving students with
connections to the Knoxville chapter. There are no specific
requirements other than being currently enrolled in
an area college or university and continuing to be
enrolled in the Fall. It is assumed that the
applicants will be accounting majors and student
members of IMA who can be recommended by a member of the
Knoxville
chapter.
The application and
two letters of evaluation must be received by March
15. The mailing address is on the forms. The
application must be accompanied by a transcript
which includes the fall term and typed responses to
two questions.
The scholarship
recipients will be announced by April 15th and will
be invited to the May chapter meeting to be
recognized. The award will be sent to the
recipient’s school for the fall term.
